We did it finally – we rearranged our tiny 2 bedroom house + office into a 3 bedroom home. Yes, that means the kids have their own rooms and I lost the extra office. Well actually, my husband lost his office and I gained a roomie in my garage office. Grrr…
It was time. My son and daughter had been sharing since they were born. (Hey, I shared with my sister till I was well into the 8th grade!) The kids love having their own space. Lucky kids!
Now we begin the process of redecorating for my 9 year old soccer lovin’ boy and my 6 year old Taylor Swift singing girl. Gone are the days of matching gender neutral bed spreads…sigh.
We’re starting with paint. The color choices are traditional with a bit of crazy. Yes, I had to squelch someone’s urge to have neon orange on their walls. Aack! Will keep you posted on what they eventually choose.
